CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND

The NFL is the only show in town this weekend as the AFC and NFC Championship games take center stage on Sunday. Expect a slugfest in San Francisco while the only question in New England will be if Belichick and Co will run it up on a troubled Ravens team.

NATIONAL TITLE GAME

81-60-4 on the football season as college football sadly finishes this evening as the National Championship Game takes center stage. It has been a wonderful fall and winter here at HC&P and we look to go out with a bang in the college game when LSU and Alabama collide for a second time tonight. We'll see more points tonight than last time however the outcome will remain the same. Good luck to all, we'll be back this weekend with some NFL Playoff locks!

LSU -1 VS ALABAMA

SATURDAY

Two monumental sporting events today for your viewing pleasure. The Detroit Lions return to the playoffs for the first time in 12 years and the Iowa Hawkeyes have a meaningful home basketball game for the first time in six years. Huge dogs in both but we love the points!

IOWA +11.5 VS OHIO STATE

DETROIT LIONS +10.5 AT NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

SUGAR BOWL

1-2 yesterday after a heartbreaking defeat in the Oklahoma State game. That will go down as one of our worst defeats of the year. The record to date stands at 81-59-4, still well above the magical 56% profit line. Today the Sugar Bowl takes center stage as Michigan faces Virginia Tech. While Michigan might not quite be ready for the BCS spotlight, they do have the advantage of facing a severely overrated Hoakie squad. Lay the points degenerates, GO BLUE!

MICHIGAN WOLVERINES -2.5 VS VIRGINIA TECH HOAKIES
