NFL SUNDAY
Another winning day yesterday although it could have been better after we pushed on USC due to a two point conversion in triple overtime. The overall season mark now stands at an outstanding 45-29-3. Today we turn our attention towards the NFL where we are hitting at a 70% clip through 7 weeks. Good luck today!

MR. THURSDAY NIGHT
Monday's winner with Jacksonville helped us recover a bit from a rough college Saturday and as the football weekend approaches, expectations remain high as we look to build on our 41-26-2 season mark. Two games of note tonight as Houston hosts Rice and Virginia travels to Miami, FL. The favorites will roll this evening as bad teams such as Rice and UVA start to work in younger players looking forward to next year.

THURSDAY PILLOW FIGHT
We've got a lightweight bout this evening in the shithole known as Tucson, Arizona as UCLA makes the short trip to the desert to face the Arizona Wildcats. The only positive thing I have ever heard said about this city comes from Bone Thugs in their classic, "Ghetto Cowboy." As for the game, expect things to get brighter for the Wildcats now that Mike Stoops has been returned to his mental institution. Good luck tonight!

MONDAY NIGHT MADNESS
We've got a rare NFL lock for you this evening after an average college gaming weekend. The New York Jets tonight host what looks to be a bottom 3 team in the NFL in the Miami Dolphins. The boys from South Beach will struggle to score more than 10 points on a good Jets defense and Rex Ryan will get Shonn Greene cranking on the ground. Look for the Jets to cover this number in a low scoring, AFC East clash. Our record for the year now stands at an impressive, 37-22-2.

SHOWDOWN SATURDAY
A 1-1 Thursday has wet our appetite for a huge Saturday that features several important conference showdowns. For better or for worse we are back on Iowa this week and expecting a bounce back performance against Northwestern. Arizona State will hang around, and possibly win at Oregon outright who will be without star running back LaMichael James.

MR. THURSDAY NIGHT
Thursday is here again and we've got a double header of college locks to kick start your weekend. Our 34-18-2 record this year is our best start to the season since Nathan Chandler was taking snaps behind center for Iowa. The dogs will be barking tonight as an improved SDSU squad heads to Colorado Springs to square off against Air Force and Cal hosts a struggling USC team. This leads us to our all-time favorite Cal highlight (see above) as Marshawn Lynch takes the injury cart for a ride after a big win!

NFL SUNDAY
A 5-4 Saturday brought us back to earth but a winning day is a winning day so there will be no complaints here. The overall season record stands at 34-17-2 which is an amazing 66% winning percentage. Just one NFL play for today and it's the NBC Sunday Night Game. Today will be used to recover from yesterday and TO prepare for tomorrow, which is the biggest Lions regular season game since 2001.

SATURDAY'S CARD
A tough loss last second loss last night but we were on the right side with Cal. We've got a good matchup tonight as Boise visits Fresno. Boise doesn't appear to be nearly as explosive on offense this fall after losing their top 2 WRs to the NFL. Their inability to strech the field will lead to lower point totals and less covers in 2011. Tomorrow is shaping up to be a day of unexpected upsets in college football so once again taking the points will be the play in the majority of our games. The value of Iowa getting 4 against a terrible offense is just too good to pass up. Look for Michigan to hang 50 on Northwestern and finally pull away late, 51-34. Nebraska will return the favor this week and take a crumbling Ohio State team behind the woodshed in their Big Ten home opener. Finally, one of our favorite teams this year, Washington State travels to LA to battle UCLA. The Cougars will continue their resurgence and win this ballgame outright. Good luck to all.

THIRSTY THURSDAY
Plenty of sports to follow tonight as the Yankees finish off the Tigers, the NHL season opens up and of course Thursday Night College Football. Tonight the Cal Bears travel to Eugene, Oregon to take on the Ducks. After an opening loss to powerful LSU, Oregon has reeled off 3 straight wins while averaging 60 points a game. Cal is coming off their first loss of the year, a 31-23 setback to Washington. We're betting on Cal enduring the opening storm Oregon will throw their way and hanging around long enough to cover the 24 point number.
CALIFORNIA BEARS +24 @ OREGON

What do the Detroit Lions and Mr. Thursday Night have in common? Undefeated weekends! No play on the shitfest tonight. 29-12-2 on the season.
