Opinions:
Duke +2. We've got 2 huge things in our favor...85% of the bets are coming in on NC, yet the line hasn't budged and the double bounce theory. Gotta love to fade the public in high profile games (see Baylor). Also, Duke is coming off B2B sub par performances creating the double bounce theory as they look to "bounce" back to their A game. You might want to call it the 1 and a half bounce theory though since they played pretty good in the 2nd half of the Miami game. Reason for this not being a rated play is b/c I believe NC is the better team and feel the line is pretty solid. Should be a fun one to watch though!!
Baylor +3.5. Simply a public fade. With 90%+ of the action coming in on OU, Mr. Griffin all over ESPN and the Sooners being touted as a #1 seed you'd think this line should be around 10+. Especially since Baylor has dropped 5 in a row and got blasted by these same Sooners by 19pts in Norman. Something reaks about this line!! Reason for this not being a rated play is b/c I can see an OU rout taking place but again...the line just reaks of upset!
This "Coach K" character is one of the biggest handicapping hacks in the world. Fading Coach K could be the world's most lucrative profession. If Coach K were smart, he would retire now and avoid further embarassment.
ReplyDeleteEvansville really cost us tonight...the difference between winning 5.9 units and losing the 2.9 we did. They outscored the Redbirds 42-20 in the paint for the game and ended up losing by 2. 1st half blunders really cost us overall tonight. If the Purple Aces perform even 1/4 as well as they did in the 2nd half they cover easily and we end up coming away from the night looking great! We dominated the NBA again going 4-0-1 on our 2* plays. Again, just a few bounces away from a big night overall. We'll make a few adjustments to our college #'s since a couple of games were pretty far off the posted #.
