Well we had a rough one yesterday and ended up dropping 13.1 units. I want to apologize first off for throwing half our 5* play on Ohio as well as 3*. I went back and tried to figure out why it was such a bad loss and figured out I overlooked a pretty big match-up criteria. To keep it short, Ohio really only has one "big" that they would run their offense through at the high post while BG had 3 "bigs" to front him and play behind. In this situation, Ohio is not able to effectively run their offense b/c they could not enter the ball either the low or high post and if they did, they were not able to kick it out or swing it. Not putting enough attention to this fact clearly cost us and cost us BIG TIME!! The other half of the wager went as planned as West Virginia won outright by DD as a 5pt dog. Again, I'm sorry for that and will definitely do my best to earn our units lost back today!
I feel we have an amazing match-up taking place right away this morning with Minnesota and Michigan St and look to take advantage of the extra points we are getting. I am releasing a 5* right away this morning as well as a few other bombs to get us started. LET'S GO!!

Guys I had Kentucky listed as a play but wanted to see what the market was going to do before I listed it as a play. As more and more money continues to come in on LSU and the line is not budging I think that is enough info that the books feel they are in good position for a Kentucky win.

I even lost another 4* play this morning and settled for a push on my 5*. How in the world could I ever skew my stats when they are right here in front of everyone to see? Now, I am flattered that you love to come in my threads and pay me attention, I really am. ReplyDeleteCounting yesterday's big loss and this morning's 4* loss WE ARE STILL UP 23.3 UNITS IN MARCH!! We have had only 2 losing days so far in March and even though we started off slow this morning with our big bombs, I fully intend to come out in the black today!

ReplyDeleteFellas, the books are getting the crap kicked out of 'em this morning with all huge public bets cashing (if you bet MSU -7/7.5 early). Unfortunately we were on the other side of all 3. FSU is another huge public bet that is not looking good for the books so far. Since Vegas rarely has a losing day, especially during this time of year, you can be sure we will be where the books need the bets (anti public) to cash as well as following the sharp $.

ReplyDeleteAnother losing night dropping 5.6 units bringing our March total down to +22.9. As disappointed as I am about our last 2 days, I am still very pleased to be up almost 23 units in 12 days worth of wagering. We have still won 9 of 12 days we've wagered...75%.
ReplyDeleteOur college picks got back on track nailing our last 6/7 plays (not including totals). Speaking of totals, man they have been killing me the past 2 days!! Going 1-5 with our only winner coming from the NBA tonight. Take away the 5 totals losers and we break even on the day. Or, if I can cash just 1 of the 3 losers in the NBA, we are in the black for the day. And it's not like they were bad losses either...Raptors +1 lose in OT by 4, The Bobcats +1 were leading with 36 seconds left and then get outscored 6-0, The Bucks +5, were down 6 with under 2 mins to play and lose by 9. All three games could have easily covered and it's an 18.9 unit swing!! Instead of losing 5.6 units we end up winning 13.3 and completely recover from yesterday's loss.
BUT, I've said it before and I'll say it again...the breaks even out over time and I know I was getting breaks for us to be up over 40 units in the first 10 days in March. Again, we are still up almost 23 units this month, even after the last 2 days so I can't complain. I'll take an average profit of 11+ units/wk every single week!! Oh if it were that easy...Good night gentlemen and best of luck tomorrow!
