MR. THURSDAY NIGHT

It's been almost a month since Mr. Thursday Night has tasted defeat on a Thursday and the train will continue to roll tonight as Nebraska heads to Manhattan, Kansas to take on K-State. Sadly, this might be the best game in the Big 12 North all season. The Wildcat run defense is below average and this figures to be a huge area of concern for Bill Snyder tonight as the Huskers run game is coming off a 383 showing at Washington. In addition, Taylor Martinez is just a better QB than Carson Coffman at this point. K-state is improved but Nebraska is a national title contender.

NEBRASKA -11.5 AT KANSAS STATE

  1. And you will not see that month without experiencing another defeat because I say, not so fast my friend! And when I say, not so fast my friend, the chances of you winning are 14%. Bill Snyder is one of the best coaches in college football history when playing at home and rarely ever shows much early in the season. He's just plain kept it vanilla so far because he knew this game was going to be the game that determines the Big 12 North. Let me just tell you this right now, you haven't seen this Wildcat offense or defense shine until tonight, especially Daniel Thomas. This kid will be playing on Sundays next year and he will be a star! Kansas State is the best team Nebraska has seen this year and they are facing them on the road, on a Thursday night. The Huskers will be ready for this game, but so will the Wildcats. With both offenses wanting to run the ball, a low scoring ball game to be expected. Take the points with the home dog here tonight and watch the Wildcats give the Huskers a run for their money!
