MR. THURSDAY NIGHT

We are off and running with a 4-2-2 opening week which could have been even better had Virginia Tech not pulled their usual choke job. We've got a double play Thursday for you this week as the NFL season kicks off with the Vikings visiting the Saints. Stay tuned for more picks in what promises to be an excellent college football weekend.

  1. 2nd time this week, I get to say, "Not so fast my friend!" While playing on the road in the SEC at night, the whole home dog Thursday night trend and the reverse line movement is vastly in the Bulldogs' favor, Auburn will control this game from beginning to end. MSU could only get to Memphis' QB 1 time last week and their first 2 TD's were essentially flukes. Auburn on the other hand boasts arguably the best OL in the SEC and will allow Cam Newton the needed time to complete his passes on the crucial 3rd downs to keep the chains moving. That same OL will dominate MSU's front 7 and allow Auburn to run right through and around the Bulldog defense. It's not very smart to go against MSU in this case tonight and I'm almost certain there are very very sharp bettors who are really likeing the Bulldogs in order for us to see the line move down, but Herby and Chris, I'm saying the public has the right side in this one, Auburn by 6!
