Brett “The Jet” Favre to Retire – Again

After one season with the New York Jets, Brett Favre told his agent he plans to retire. As ESPN reported early this morning, Favre has no regrets with finishing his career with the Jets and not with the Packers and praised the Jets organization and front office. He even mentioned it was a pleasure playing with RB Thomas Jones. Some speculated that Favre would be coming back for one more year after he sat out this year’s Pro Bowl because of a shoulder injury. Favre leaves the Jets with a big hole at QB, and for a team that overspent last year in Free Agency, could now be looking to “rebuild”.
