Well, we had to settle for a PUSH with our 4* teaser after ASU blew a 17pt lead with 13 to go in the game. I got home just in time to see the 2nd half of the game and fell off my couch as Glasser missed the front end of a 1-1 to keep ASU's lead at 2 with 5 secs remaining. Talk about an emotional roller coaster! The Cavs looked like they put away any doubts about half way thru the 1st quarter en route to a 33pt halftime lead and a 21pt victory.

Even though we settled for the equivalent of kissing our sister, I KNOW both legs of the teaser were the right plays. If you've been around this racket long enough, you are going to be on the right side of things but come out on the wrong side of the money. It's inevitable and this is the main reason that nothing is ever a "lock" or guaranteed. All of the #'s, all of the match-ups, all of the motivational and situational factors and even a soft # can be in your favor, BUT the things we cannot handicap are what keeps even the greatest professional sports gamblers from getting the best of it every time. It's also what keeps the "square" bettors coming back for more. They think that just because they won, they were on the "right" side when in reality it was mostly luck that got them a cover. And it's this reason that "Joe Public" ALWAYS loses over the long run.
